INQUIZITIVE - I

Inspired by the appreciable response of the students during the Open House debate, students of RGSOIPL organized a legal quiz event named ‘INQUIZITIVE’ to test the legal acumen of the budding lawyers. The quiz was prepared and hosted by Abhishek Sharma (Class Representative, 1st year). It comprised of two rounds- Preliminary written elimination and Final Round.

The quiz began with the written round consisting of mindboggling 20 question of varied domain ranging from Supreme Court Facts, Landmark Judgements, Current legal issues and ended with a trademark picture problem compelling the participants to give interesting answers.

Þ   Why Rule 49-0 is in news recently?

After this round, teams stormed into the Rapid fire round in which 5 questions were asked in one minutes ranging from the Legal abbreviations, recent business facts and static general awareness.

Few teams gained vital lead in this round for the quest of final title. The quiz concluded with the showdown round of Linking Jeopardy which was immensely appreciated by the participants and the audiences. It included the questions based on the common connect between the pictures shown and the answers were varied from the domains of technology, games (Even Bollywood!).

Mission to know the Connect!

A blended team of first and second year students cracked the maximum score in this ‘Jeopardized’ round, however, that was not enough to put them on the winning spot.

Based on the previous leads and points, Final Standings were:

Winner: Bhavin Trivedi and Nikhil Rote
1st Runners-Up: Abhishek Singh and Sachin Bhakar
2nd Runner-Up: Abhishek Sharma and Shweta Khurana

Being one of its own kind of initiative in the law school, The INQUIZITIVE was highly appreciated by the students and it is expected to continue in forthcoming semester so that the ultimate goal of ‘learning by sharing’ can be achieved.
