Inspired by the
appreciable response of the students during the Open House debate,
students of RGSOIPL organized a legal quiz event named ‘INQUIZITIVE’ to test
the legal acumen of the budding lawyers. The quiz was prepared and hosted by
Abhishek Sharma (Class Representative, 1st year). It comprised of
two rounds- Preliminary written elimination and Final Round.
The quiz began with the written round consisting of mindboggling 20 question of varied domain ranging from Supreme Court Facts, Landmark Judgements, Current legal issues and ended with a trademark picture problem compelling the participants to give interesting answers.

round, Six teams were shortlisted on the basis of their preliminary scores:

began with the direct questions based on current business and general
awareness. Teams were all pumped up with the range of the problems related to
lawsuits and patents.

round, teams stormed into the Rapid fire round in which 5 questions were asked
in one minutes ranging from the Legal abbreviations, recent business facts and

Few teams gained
vital lead in this round for the quest of final title. The quiz concluded with
the showdown round of Linking Jeopardy which was immensely appreciated by the
participants and the audiences. It included the questions based on the common
connect between the pictures shown and the answers were varied from the domains
of technology, games (Even Bollywood!).
Mission to know the Connect!
A blended team of first and second year
students cracked the maximum score in this ‘Jeopardized’ round, however, that
was not enough to put them on the winning spot.

previous leads and points, Final Standings were:

Being
one of its own kind of initiative in the law school, The INQUIZITIVE was highly
appreciated by the students and it is expected to continue in forthcoming
semester so that the ultimate goal of ‘learning
by sharing’ can be achieved.
